Oskaras Korsunovas Theatre plays an important role in creating a sense of identity for a younger generation that emerged in the 1990s in an independent, post-communist Lithuania. In recognition of his extraordinary achievements on the national and international stage, this year Oskaras Korsunovas was awarded the prestigious European Theatre Prize for New Theatre Realities.
