Learning

LIFT learning workshop

Aims

LIFT Learning aims to make the most of LIFT as a learning resource through active engagement with artists. Initiatives include:

  • performance projects
  • professional and personal development initiatives
  • training and study programmes

The programmes are for adults and young people from many walks of life.

The Wooster Group

The Wooster Group's visit is accompanied by a Symposium curated by Andrew Quick (Lancaster University) and Adrian Heathfield (University of Warwick) for anyone with a working interest in the company’s inspiration and influence.

Tradition into Modernity - Transformation

The Theft of Sita was an extraordinary opportunity to explore the interface between radically different cultural traditions in a time of change. A series of workshops and discussions welcomed audiences and practitioners to explore puppetry and animation as specific and developing artforms and the nature of cultural exchange enjoyed by the Australian-Indonesian company.
