ROSE GARDEN

I have principally been a New Media - (web/Flash/applications) Designer/CSS-XHTML Developer over the last fourteen years with an in-depth knowledge of Web Site design and development. During his time I have had experience of producing a variety of print media as well as illustration and logo/branding design.

As a talented and versatile designer I am knowledgeable of the process behind fulfilling a client's / product's / employer's needs. I understand the full life cycle process of a project including within an Agile environment, offering imaginative user experience and visual design solutions to achieve success.

For the last six years, all the work I have produced has complied with W3C and DDA guidelines and involved testing and validation according to WCAG AA (and sometimes AAA) standards.

 

ui design

Over the last fifteen years I have worked on the UI design for various applications, these have been mainly web based.

Primarily I use Photoshop HTML and CSS to design interfaces.

creatives

Coming from a fine art background I am comfortable with producing creatives for a digital application.

Mainly working in photoshop (and flash in the past) I have created hero's, general banners, slideshow banners and more.

illustration

I have done a variety of illustration for both digital and non-digital media.

With my illustration skills I have produced a variety of digital graphics including informational, maps and icons.

branding

I understand the requirements involved when it comes to branding.

Whether this be creating a new brand or producing digital output within current branding guidelines.

front-end dev

I have worked as a CSS / HTML developer in a number of environments, including .Net, JSP, Wordpress, Sharepoint2013, PHP and standalone HTML.
